Surprisingly, 2020 has been extraordinary: the year began with a small virus turning the world upside down. Flights were canceled. Even Norwegians abruptly stopped shaking hands due to covid-19. Then both the United States and Norway became aware of another disease in our midst: the racist pandemic. The police murder of George Floyd in Minnesota gave birth to, on an experimental basis, a settlement with racism in Norway as well. Soccer players went down on their knees in support of Black Lives Matter.
