The road to a new legal order

On May 9, the artist couple Julian Blaue and Edy Poppy reported themselves for structural violence. They are now on an exploration trip in Rio de Janeiro, and encourage Ny Tid readers to join the self-report.

Christmas Eve 2015, Edy, I and my six-month-old son celebrated at a romantic upper-class lake in Rio de Janeiro. Then we were attacked by two men with a knife from a poor neighborhood, a favela, nearby. The incident was dramatic for all involved and ended with police fighting. The perpetrators were caught, we were "saved" and could continue. . .
